Amnesty International

Amnesty International approached Witherford Watson Mann Architects to refurbish their offices at The Human Rights Action Centre in London. WWM contacted Timbmet for expert advice on the best type of timber to use for the window frames.

Bramall Learning Centre

Bramall Learning Centre at RHS Garden Harlow Carr is a brand new bespoke build, two storey high building nestling comfortably within beautiful gardens. The building has been designed to be carbon neutral and one of the greenest buildings in the country achieving an Excellent BREEAM rating. Joinery contractor Dalton Joinery, having worked closely with Timbmet for many years, were aware of Timbmet’s commitment to environmental sustainability so was an obvious choice to supply timber materials.

Broadmead Shopping Centre

The Broadmead Shopping Centre project saw the development of 90,000m2 of retail and leisure space to house shops, restaurants, a cinema plus 240 apartments. Timbmet advised and manufactured the timber products for the cladding and decking elements of this project.

Falcon Wharf

Falcon Wharf is a luxury apartment development in Battersea, London. Soundcraft, the joinery contractors working on the project, approached Timbmet for advice on which materials would be most suitable for the sliding doors leading from each apartment onto the garden balcony.

Highbury Crescent

Comprising of ten detached houses and 25 apartments overlooking Highbury Fields Conservation Area, Highbury Crescent represents the single most prestigious residential development in North London today.

King's College

Bovis Lend Lease Ltd were contracted to carry out a major refurbishment of King's College, London. Timbmet was asked to consult on the best material to use for the manufacture of timber shutters for the lecture and study rooms by contractors Taylor Made Joinery.

Luminaire

Luminaire is a highly contemporary 50,000 square foot office development in Maidenhead which needed a solar shading construction for the top of the building. Par Louvre Systems contacted Timbmet to supply and manufacture the Western Red Cedar blades for the Luminaire building.

Nile Street

Nile Street is an upmarket development of 175 homes aimed at the entire housing market, providing 128 apartments as affordable housing alongside larger luxury apartments. The Nile Street properties have several features such as decked balconies, a communal roof terrace and a water feature courtyard.

Scarborough Bridge

Building Contracts Wilf Noble Civil Engineering Ltd of Whitby turned to Timbmet when they were tasked with suplying and fitting Ekki timber beams to support the walkway on Scarborough Bridge.

Victoria Mills

The Victoria Mills complex was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001.The luxury apartments form part of a £70 million development that centres around a 130 year old Worsted Mill, converted into 200 luxury apartments. A further 207 new build apartments provide the site with a contemporary twist of futuristic architecture.
